Terms of Service — SporkBots

§1 What SporkMP3 Is

SporkMP3 is a free Discord bot that plays audio files in voice channels. It is provided as-is, with no guarantees of uptime, availability, or performance.

§2 Eligibility

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times. You must be old enough to use Discord in your jurisdiction (generally 13 or older).

§3 Your Responsibilities

You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
You must have the right to share any audio files you upload.
You must not use the bot to distribute copyrighted material you don't own or have permission to share.
You must not attempt to abuse, exploit, or overload the bot.

§4 What We Can Do

Remove or restrict access to the bot for any server or user at any time, for any reason.
Modify, update, or discontinue features without notice.
Set limits on storage, queue sizes, or usage.

§5 Limitation of Liability

SporkMP3 is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

Audio files you upload or share.
Lost data, including saved library files.
Service interruptions or downtime.
Any damages resulting from your use of the bot.

§6 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the bot means you accept the updated terms.

§1 Service Description

SporkAlerts allows server administrators and authorized users to schedule recurring messages and event-based reminders within Discord servers. Messages may include text, images, and pings to users or roles.

§2 Eligibility

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times. You must be old enough to use Discord in your jurisdiction (generally 13 or older).

§3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SporkAlerts to:

Send spam, harassment, threats, or content that violates Discord's Community Guidelines.
Send sexually explicit content, content involving minors, or content that promotes violence, hate, or illegal activity.
Circumvent Discord's rate limits, anti-spam systems, or server moderation.
Impersonate other users, the Bot's developers, or Discord itself.
Send unsolicited advertising or promotional content to users who haven't opted in.
Use the bot to harm, deceive, or surveil any person.

Server administrators are responsible for the schedules created on their servers, including content sent by users they have granted scheduling permissions to.

§4 Permissions and Access

SporkAlerts requires certain Discord permissions to function (such as Send Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, and optionally Mention All Roles). Granting these permissions implies consent for the bot to use them as described in the documentation.

SporkAlerts does not require, request, or use Discord's privileged intents (Message Content, Server Members, Presence).

§5 Availability

SporkAlerts is provided "as is" with no guarantee of uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service. Scheduled messages may be delayed or fail to send during outages, maintenance, or due to Discord platform issues. The developers are not liable for missed reminders or undelivered messages.

§6 Modifications and Termination

The developers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the bot at any time with or without notice; update these Terms at any time (continued use constitutes acceptance); refuse service to any server or user that violates these Terms; and remove the bot from any server at the developers' discretion.

You may stop using SporkAlerts at any time by removing it from your server.

§7 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the bot, including but not limited to lost data, missed messages, or content posted by the bot on your behalf.
